Period
After befaßt sich mit den mittel-
und längerfristigen Entwicklungen im Balkan, im Bereich Medien, zeitgenössischer
Kultur und den potentiellen und Konsequenzen der Balkankrise. Hauptanliegen
von Period After ist ein multi-ethnisches
Umfeld der Kooperation und Integration. Period After wird mit unabhängigen
Stimmen und Organisationen aus der Balkanregion kooperieren, die sich
derzeit unter Druck durch Propaganda, Disintegration sozialer und materieller
Lebensumstände und den Folgen der Luftangriffe befinden.
Period
posle skoncentrisan je na pitanja dugorocnog razvoja Balkana
posebno sa aspekta medija, savremene umetnosti, kao i mogucih i prisutnih
posledica krize koja traje. Teme multi-etnicke saradnje i integracije
bice cetralne teme Perida posle. Podrzacemo, pomoci i saradjivati sa nezavisnim
pojedincima i organizacijama u citavom Balkanskom regionu. Momentalno
oni su izlozeni zestokim pritiscima propagande, nemastine, raspada ukupnog
materijalnog i drustvenog okruzenja kao posledicama humanitarne katastrofe
i razaranja koja su izazvali vazdusni napadi.
Period
After is focussing on the long term development in the Balkan
region, related to media, contemporary culture and the potential and real
consequences of the ongoing crisis. Issues of multi-ethnic collaboration
and integration are central to Period After. It support and collaborate
with independent voices and organisations across the Balkan region who
are momentarily under severe pressure caused by propaganda, shortages
and disintegration of their social and material environment and the consequences
of the humanitarian catastrophe of the air-strikes.

demokratischen Entwicklungen und Ansätze darzustellen.

situacija je bez sumnje izuzetno slozena. Obuhvatajuci tu
slozenost, nameravamo da izbegnemo sve zbunjujuce politicke
analize i da se usredsredimo na stvaranje i ucvrscivanje demokratskih
postupaka i prakse.

political situation is with no doubt of great complexity.
By embracing this complexity, we intend to avoid an all encompassing
political analysis, but much rather hope to consolidate pluralist
democratic procedures and practices.

Toleranz
und Integration sind essentiell für die kommende Zeit, die
'period after'. Während der Luftangriffe waren in den Medien
regelmäßig persönliche Berichte und Tagebücher zu finden.
Seit dem Ende der militärischen Intervention sind diese weitgehend
verschwunden. Mit einem Interesse an den mittel- und längerfristigen
Entwicklungen sehen wir diese jedoch als zentral für die Entwicklung
in Südost Europa.

Razvijanje
tolerancije I mogucnost integracije predstavljace glavne teme
interesovanja u vremenu koje podrazumeva 'period posle'. Tokom
trajanja vazdusnih napada mediji iz celog sveta bili su prosto
preplavljeni izvestajima, ali I sudbinama I osecanjima ljudi.
Od tada ne samo da su izvestaji izgubili svoje mesto, vec
I ljudske sudbine kao da su nestale preko noci sa medijske
scene. Ipak, gledajuci sa stanovista dugorocnih interesa sudbine
regiona verujemo da ce upravo psiholoski aspekti problema
biti od centralne vaznosti za razvoj celokupne Jugoistocne
Evrope.

Tolerance
and integration are of primary interest to the period after.
Throughout the time of the air strikes, fear and fortune of
individuals from the crisis region have been mediated throughout
the globe. Since then, reports and individual accounts have
mostly disappeared from the media surface. But investigating
in the long term development, we believe that social and psychological
issues are central to the development in Southeast Europe.
